Wednesday 5th June saw the THS Cricket team advance through to the County Finals in some style! Stewkley Cricket Club hosted the county partnership event and we were placed in a tough group alongside Bedgrove, Aston Clinton and Buckingham Park School.

The nerves were there for all to see during the first game against Bedgrove but our BIRDS managed to overcome them to win a close fought encounter with some stunning shots and excellent bowling. The next match saw THS play against Aston Clinton, and once again the match was a close affair. Our fielding won us the match as the boys worked well on their organisation and teamwork. Another win for Team THS and we were looking forward to a match against Buckingham Park. Our BIRDS played some stunning cricket and won the match comfortably in the end. 

THS reached the final and were up against the mighty High Ash School. THS stepped up another gear in this knockout game; bowling with power and accuracy, fielding with precision and speed, and batting with bravery and skill. The game was settled and THS stormed to victory with 106 runs scored.

Mr Lambert and Miss M were so proud of our BIRDS for the determination, teamwork, passion and a lot of skill. Bring on the County Finals!
