My name is Pippa Brand-Benee and I am the proud Headteacher of this thriving Primary school. Whether it’s the warm welcome you receive at reception, or the glimpse of our happy children - as soon as  you walk through our gates you will clearly see that Thomas Hickman is a place where everyone is valued: there are no outsiders here!

Following the Red Weather Warning issued by the Met Office, the school has no choice but to remain closed on Friday 26 June.

The safety and wellbeing of our pupils, staff and families must come first, and in light of the current conditions, it is not safe for the school to open.
