Residential 2026
Day 2 Blog
After a hearty full English breakfast with buttered-toast, the children set about their day’s activities. Events today included raft-making (yes, some children did take an untimely dip!) Giant Swing (and it was really GIANT!)
And archery - with real arrows! We definitely spotted some future Olympians!
Other than a few bumps, scrapes and grazes. The children are all well-cared for and getting into the holiday spirit.
We’re just off to a campfire to sing some songs around the flames… fingers crossed the rain keeps off.
Enjoy some photos of today!
See you all tomorrow

Day 1 Blog
What a high octane afternoon already!
The children have taken part in the climbing wall - (collectively they've climbed the equivalent to the height of the Eiffel Tower !!)
Some groups have also attempted Jacob's Ladder whilst other children have worked through the Survivor activity building dens and lighting fires - parents will be pleased to hear that they all survived!
It was our first dinner in the dining hall tonight and the children were excellent. They ate a hearty meal of either. Fish fingers, tomato pasta, chips, salad or vegetable chowmein: there were many clear plates!
We are just heading out tonight to play Ambush in the dark... don't worry, we'll bring Mr K back (hopefully in one piece).
We'll touch base with you all tomorrow evening.
Here's some 'action shots' until then.
