Hi, I'm Janey, the HR Manager at Thomas Hickman School. I support our staff throughout their journey with the school, helping to create a positive, supportive and welcoming working environment where everyone can thrive.

As HR Manager, I work closely with the School Business Manager and leadership team to support all aspects of human resources, from recruitment and onboarding to staff wellbeing and professional development. I am passionate about helping our team feel valued and supported, as I believe that when staff thrive, our children do too.

This is my fourth year at Thomas Hickman School and one of the things I enjoy most is being part of such a caring and supportive school community. It is incredibly rewarding to play a role in creating an environment where every child has the opportunity to be the very best they can be.

Outside of school, I enjoy sewing and making things. I love being creative and there's nothing more satisfying than turning an idea into something handmade and unique.
