Hi, I'm Kim Bourke-Smith, and I've been part of the Thomas Hickman School community for over 16 years. I love helping children engage with their learning and supporting them to grow in confidence, curiosity and independence every day.

Throughout my time at Thomas Hickman School, I have been passionate about creating a positive and engaging learning environment where every child can flourish. I believe that building strong relationships and making learning enjoyable helps children develop the confidence they need to achieve their full potential.

One of my greatest passions is fostering a lifelong love of reading. I believe that reading is the key to unlocking confidence, curiosity and success across all areas of learning. I enjoy sharing stories, introducing children to a wide range of books and inspiring them to become enthusiastic, independent readers.

Outside of school, I enjoy getting lost in a good book and spending time walking my two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Being outdoors with them is the perfect way to relax and recharge.
