🏆 Year 6 Girls Handball Competition – Kingsbrook School 🏐

Thomas Hickman School’s Year 6 Girls took part in the first ever Girls’ Handball Competition at Kingsbrook School, facing teams from Aylesbury Vale Academy, Whitchurch, Buckingham Park and St Michael’s.

THS made a flying start with a resounding 6–1 victory over Aylesbury Vale Academy, followed by a hard-fought 3–3 draw against Whitchurch. The momentum continued with an excellent 3–2 win against Buckingham Park before finishing the day in style with a dominant 6–1 victory over St Michael’s.

With these outstanding results, THS were crowned champions, proudly bringing home winners’ medals and a new trophy for the school cabinet.

Every player demonstrated incredible passion, determination, and teamwork, making the school immensely proud. A fantastic achievement for our Year 6 girls — well done, THS! 👏

Miss Abi’s Updated 97UP Club!

We know that great attendance helps our pupils make the most of every learning opportunity.

While we understand that achieving a full 100% isn’t always realistic, we encourage all

children to aim high, so 97% and above is our golden standard.

That’s why Miss Abi is excited to relaunch the 97UP Club, celebrating pupils who reach this

milestone.

As a reward for their commitment, children can still choose a Zoomania voucher

or they can also now choose a reward from Miss Abi’s very own “Abizon” shop.

Let’s keep aiming for 97% and up, because every day in school truly counts!
